Recruited from overseas to play with Karasuno, you must first attend a language camp in Japan, where you end up staying with a goofy boy who goes to a school known as Nekoma. It's a mere 2 weeks before you get to attend your first practice with the Crows, when you'll move in and spend the next year with your host family, the Tsukishima's. Both the Boys teams on Karasuno and Nekoma and in the rest of Japan are Co-ed, but due to the height of the net, most girls tend to play on the all girls team, but not you. Standing at 5'8 and being able to jump a foot in the air, you're ready for Karasuno.
