Killing Father & Other Demons is my second poetry collection and if I'm being honest, my best written one. Killing Father & Other Demons holds poems that are deep and dark, explaining the life of a gay teen struggling to just be. The book touches on themes like suicide, mental health, depression and more. ---------------------+------------------------+------------------------ I will not lie, some nights I close my eyes And dream of not being gay and it's everything I could ever wish for: It's laughing with diamonds in my teeth, It's dancing on everything but ice, It's singing without any friction, It's blasting off into space on a rocket ship with the man I love. Right, even my dreams are gay. Some of the content of this book may be triggering to some of the readers. Content like, suicide, mental health, depression, eating disorders and other similar themes.
