Harry was just a young child when it happened. He lived with his unloving relatives in Surrey. 5 years of abuse took its toll on him by the time he was 6 years old. He noticed everything becoming quieter and quieter everyday but what he didn't realise was what it meant. When he woke up one morning not hearing a thing, it scared him. Wouldn't it scare you too? When his eleventh birthday rolled around, he got a letter to go to a school that if he went by logic, shouldn't have existed at all. What will people think when they find out he's deaf? Harry certainly doesn't want to find out. He had overheard them discussing his approaching death. They planned on him dying during his fight with Voldemort, and them taking is fame and fortune. They had already begun draining his vaults. Dumbledore has put him with the Dursley's in hopes he would be abused and come to Hogwarts eager to please the one who 'saved' him. When he was beaten nearly to death the summer after his fifth year by his uncle, he escaped and went to the house on Spinners End he had heard of only briefly during a conversation with Sirius earlier that year. He knew that the man would be the only one to not report straight back to either Dumbledore, or Voldemort. The man was completely unaware of his true relation to the boy, and he planned to keep it that way. He didn't plan to stick around long anyway, just long enough to get to safety. Things weren't supposed to turn out like this, but things tend to get out of control for the boy who lived, and he didn't know where else to go. Harry has had weird years at Hogwarts, but his sixth year is possibly the most confusing and weirdest year. Hermione is moody, Snape keeps disappearing, Professor Dumbledore seems to hide something from him and Draco Malfoy is acting strange and clingy around Harry.
