Even "buck" Buckley is a fire fighter at the 118. his life is great for the most part. he has a firefighting family and a best friend with an adorable son. what happens if his life come crashing down within a mater of two years. his girlfriend leaves him, he loses his first life instead of saving it. he is crushed by a ladder truck. literally. gets a blood clot in his leg and in his lung that keeps him from being recertified. then he's at the pier when a devastating tsunami hits. he loses his best friends son. even though he was found and safe he keeps having nightmares about what could have happen. he files a law suite to try to fix things but makes it worse losses his best friend. and then his sister dies. he starts blaming his self and then when he dose come back to work what happens when everyone at work finds out a secrets that he's been hiding ever since the first accident. everything gets better but dose buck see it that way. will Eddie help him recover. and what will Eddie do when buck try's to take it to far. eddie looked out the window of bobbys office. buck and christopher laughed as buck picked up chris and threw him over his shoulder. "some things are just more important." eddie said, more to himself than to bobby. buck looked in the window and motioned for eddie to come out. eddie turned his head to bobby, "tell them to keep their money". and with that, eddie ran over to the two people he cared about most in the world. because when he was with them, nothing else mattered. this was exactly where he wanted to be.

After a while of being single, Buck wants to put himself back out there and tries online dating. Eddie is a supportive best friend... but it gets harder with every date Buck goes on.

After a night of great fun, video games and a lot of beer, something happens and makes Buck and Eddie confused by how they feel about each other.
