4 and a half years after reach ONI has been unable to secure and augment the Spartan, Noble Six is now considered the last spartan 3. Being bred for war at a young age has allowed him to be on his fair share of suicide missions giving him some remarkable and impossible feats! Returning to earth to receive his augmentations into the spartan 4 program. plans change and he is sent on another suicide mission But is a peace talk with the sangheili on sangheilios really in his job description?

After ensuring the escape of the Autumn, Noble Six fights to survive on a Covenant infested planet where he believes is his final mission. But, ONI believes he is to valuable and has a mission perfect for him. ONI puts him in a new program called Project Freelancer, he will observe the new project and take it down if necessary. Through out his mission Noble Six comes to realize that it may take more time to complete than he thought. And while doing so he can't help but make a couple friends along the way. With these new friends and teammates he can't help but feel a little bit more human.
