[Poem] Drenched in bitter memoirs Nightmares killed my desires For I am dead to everybody But I lived unjustified for my body A tragic moment that sets us apart He lived his life but I couldn't start Rain reminded me of my fears As it went along with my tears Grey clouds are never my comfort For they cry and join my hurt Grey clouds are never to be forgotten For they masked the trauma that frighten Date started: September 8, 2020 Date finished: September 8, 2020 Highest ranks: #11 on yesterday #20 on memoir #63 on cloud Awards: Champion in Tila Tula Tala Poetry Writing Contest - English Category Best Book Cover in Tila Tula Tala Poetry Writing Contest - English Category

[Poem] They say black is the absence of colors, but I say black is beautiful even without all the colors. To be born with a race is not what we decide on and it is not something we should worry about. However, in this world we live in, it is worrisome to many - yellow, white, orange and black. Love is all we need for the entire human race. Love is what we should be spreading instead of negativity. Black lives matter, but it is best if all lives matter. -------------------------------------- This is a poem to empower not only the Black Community but also everyone in the world specifically in this virtual world during this pandemic. Let us give love and not hate. Words and terms used are not intended as racism.
