After 100 years of desperate war, the surviving remnants of humanity and their allies made one final attempt to escape extinction. Using a device forged from the combined genius of human and xeno technology, they tore open reality itself and fled from the tendrils of the Great Blight that unraveled creation itself. But an incident happened. Instead of merely crossing into another universe, the refugee ship was thrown through infinite dimensions until it arrived in a new multiverse, one whose laws and systems were completely foreign to them.
