As Remus Lupin moves through his sixth year at Hogwarts, he is forced to face some difficult truths. Is being true to himself worth sacrificing his friendships?

Despite his monthly issue, Remus couldn't complain about much. He has two parents who love him dearly, two best mates he can count on for anything, and a girlfriend of roughly 6 years who adores him. Everything in his life is perfect. Isn't it? But the picture perfect life of Remus Lupin is just that. An image of who he is supposed to be. Not who he is. The cookie cutter world he has always known comes crumbling down when he befriends Sirius Black. Remus must decide if he wants to remain in the safety of his world, or to live in a world with Sirius Black. A life with no control. *only 2 mature parts*

What he didn't expect was three just-out-of-college students all with music majors and a thrill for doing stupid bullshit. As he gets whisked away in their little adventures, his life changes and his future starts to shape into something entirely new. Remus Lupin never expected to be a rock star. Since his mother's obviously unemployed and his father doesn't get paid too much at his new job, Remus starts working at the local library, the one closest to their new apartment. Also the library where these four kids from his new high-school hang out to mainly do school projects and research. this is the way most disasters start, with sirius. it's no surprise that sirius gets james into another ridiculous situation. but -- sirius does end up meeting the cutest guy ever at a bar, and james does end up meeting this adorable redhead, so, small perks. But Sirius still had a problem. He always wanted to touch Remus. Just any sort of physical contact. When Remus was laying in bed, Sirius wanted to crawl in too; every time Sirius sat next to Remus, he had to constantly remind himself not to run his hand over Remus' thigh; Sirius wished he could slip his cold hands under Remus' thick sweater and finger every scar that littered Remus' pale skin; Sirius wanted to caress every part of Remus' face as if he could memorize it by touch; and Sirius really wanted to know what the soft skin on Remus' neck felt like under his lips, Sirius wondered if Remus was as susceptible to love bites as he was.
