Going back and rereading For Anything and Family I realized something. A lot of time had passed between the two. In that time, Eren had grown up and made his place in the world, but none of that was ever told. So to get me back in the writing kick from the break I had to take for my classes, this is a collection of short stories about that time that Eren spent growing up in the Survey Corps, and how Levi coped with newfound fatherhood.

Eren Jaeger, adopted son of Levi, now twelve, wants to join the trainees so he qualifies for the Survey Corps. Levi Rivaille, his father, refuses to let him. All Eren wants to do is to be someone Levi can be proud of, and Levi just wants to protect Eren, and make him understand he was always proud of him. But everything changes when Wall Maria falls, and Eren slips away.

Levi Rivaille is a young and promising Captain in the Survey Corps, and though he hasn't been a Captain for long, he's already earned the title 'Humanity's Best Soldier'. He rose quickly in the ranks, his only goal being humanity's survival and the extinction of the Titans. On a call one day, with his squad, he discovers Dr. Jaeger and his wife, murdered, right in front of their toddler son, Eren. He takes care of the young boy, until the Military Police find somewhere to place him. But as he grows close to the little boy, he realizes something. He wouldn't give Eren up for anything.

Eren Jaeger suddenly transformed into a little kid. Levi Ackerman was a father since he had more experience with children (his everyday life with Hanji and the others). Also, he was assigned to the title as a "farther". Hope you enjoy the story!
