In another world, Sakura grows her hair out to appeal to a certain Uchiha, argues relentlessly with her rival Ino, violently sets her blonde-haired teammate counterpart in place when he acts out, enjoys making umeboshi for her love interest, becomes the disciple of a Legendary Sannin, defeats an Akatsuki member, once again falls in love with someone who isn't good for her and - much like her namesake - has a tragically short life-span. In this world, someone refuses to let her succumb to the dark and lonely death that cuts her time short.
