Months ago, an unknown virus broke out, turning Hyruleans into decaying corpses. Panic erupted throughout the nation, as more bitten Hyruleans turned, and soon, the affected areas were sealed off to prevent further spread. The situation seems bleak. All connection to the outside world has been cut off. The radios and TVs had gone out weeks ago. No news of help, supply crates, or evacuations. You don't even know if there is some semblance of normal life outside anymore, and it's certain that no one is coming to look for survivors. Now, it's just Link and you, the zombies, and whatever you can salvage from the wreckage that had been left in the mass panic. Perhaps there are other survivors out there.
