After two months of officially adopting the boys, Aizawa came across a boy with purple hair that seems to break all the laws of gravity. The boy had run away from his abusive family one night and accidently ran into Aizawa. When Shouta found out why he was running away he got them arrested and adopted him. It was in the boys last year of middle school that they found the last member of the family...or so they thought. Aizawa was doing his normal night patrol when he came across a boy. But, the boy...he was standing on the ledge of a roof, getting ready to jump. Aizawa had tried to talk to the kid but it seemed to fall on deaf ears as the kid jumped. After Aizawa caught him he tried talking to the kid only to find out he was deaf. He realized that he couldn't have tried to talk him out of it because the kid couldn't hear him. He took the boy to the hospital to see if he was ok. When he asked the boy why he wanted to end his life the boy had busted into tears. Aizawa later learned the boys past and was angry. He adopted the boy and unbeknowingly helped to childhood friends reunite.
