Jennie Kim was a well respected and put together 17-year old. She earned all A's throughout grade school and was the student every teacher dreamed of having in their classroom. For the past two years, Jennie has been attending public high school in Boston. She liked her school. She even liked her teachers. But there was one thing, well one individual that she could not tolerate. Her bully, Lalisa Manoban. Lisa was a trouble maker; she always mouthed off teachers, was sent to the principal's office, and even got suspended for a fight or two; and out of all the prospective students in the entire school to pick on, she chose Jennie.

This new experience will give mixed emotions to Jennie. She couldn't figure out if she wants to be with this girl (Lisa) she met when they moved to her grandma's house. It's not her plan to fall for her, but with the simple attention she's getting from Lisa, she couldn't help but think about her differently. Lisa knows who she is and what she wants, but never wanted to put a label on herself. She never dated someone even though there are a lot of people who express their affection to her. Jennie is the first person who made her smile without a reason, and the first person who made her sad even though she's been lonely and alone for the longest time. Everything will happen on the day Jennie and her mom moved to her grandma's house. This is also the day she met Lisa. But it won't end there. The note that Lisa wrote on her drink will change how she views things. Confusion will fill her everyday life. She'll stop it. Avoid it. But one day she'll lose her grip because she could no longer suppress her feelings for her. Their life being together is almost perfect, until Jennie's grandma found out what's going on with them. This cause a tragedy in their family, which made Jennie choose between her first love, and her grandma. She's young and afraid of everything, that's why she left the girl who made her experience love for the first time. Will their love win? Or will they stay hidden and away from each other to keep the trust of their family to them?
