Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

Can Yaman is an internationally known actor and model. His shows have had great success but he hasn't been able to find that special woman to share his life with..yet. Sanem Aydin is an up and coming dancer and choreographer who has worked hard all of her life to get to where she is now. True love has eluded her so she hasn't found the man she was meant to spend her life with..yet. Join me for my second fanfiction based on my deep love for the Erkenci Kus series. This one is a little different as I'm telling my story from a real life point of view. I fell in love with Can Yaman after watching the series and have followed him as he has traversed love, his career, his charity and all the challenges he has faced. We are grateful that he shares so much with his fans. In the story, Sanem is a fan of Can's and goes with some friends to hopefully meet him during the Break the Wall tour and like they say...the rest is history. Can and Sanem share a complicated history thats explored in a series of flashbacks, while during the present day they try to rekindle what they once had. Set roughly in the late 1700's.Slowburn reconciliation but there is plenty of romantic fluff in the flashbacks to keep you sated. Profanity and violence but I'm trying to keep it lighthearted.
