When a pack of raptors stumble upon a destroyed rex nest, they find that one egg survived the unfortunate incident. Despite the law forbidding them to do so, the Raptors keep the baby rex and name the juvenile Shard after a strange birthmark on his nose. But things turn for the worst when a group of mutated dinosaurs...
