"You turned him into what he is now..." • • • • • America is imperfect. He is filled with many flaws. The world knows this, and they take advantage of such, forgetting the fact that the said nation was built of their influences and cultures. America was a product of the world. But in their eyes, he WAS the world.

I wrote this story when I was in middle school and now that I have grown up a bit I just feel like this story isn't a good fit. It isn't something I would want to read or even write. Instead, I am re-writing it, hopefully, to be better, in a book called "Centuries of Secrets". The plot is slightly different and the characters are slightly different because I am also a slightly different writer than back then. I'm not ashamed of this story and I think it might be fun to read. Just remember that it cuts off in the middle so don't enjoy it too much. Some of the countries found a book during a meeting. Little did they know that it would cause so much pain, and we aren't talking about paper cuts, but something much worse. "It has been a very exhausting meeting. Everyone has been quieter than usual, and there hasn't been one fight, which is unheard of. Even when you look over to America you can sense that he has pretty much given up on this meeting too. "Alright then," Germany said, surprising many personifications by how quiet his voice was. "Meeting over. Unless anyone has anything else to add." Italy's hand shot up, and Germany added, "That isn't about pasta." Surprisingly Italy's hand was still in the air. Germany sighed, and said, "Yes Italy?" Italy jumped up from his chair and pulled out a giant book that looked almost as old as China." I only own the story.

Being a parent wasn't on America's to-do list. But it's been centuries and his collection of little shits has grown. They're still as cute and on crack as when he first got them. Hidden from the other nations America's states go through celebrations and tragedies. From the Revolution to the Civil War to the World Wars, the family has supported each other no matter what happens (ignore the Civil War tho). So as we introduce each state, let's witness shenanigans, love, and the inevitable revealing of the states to the nations. *Lots of swearing* (I'll try my best to get the facts right and not make all the nations out of character. I don't own Hetalia, it should be obvious. The only thing I own is the state OCs and some other nation OCs. This story is on Wattpad and Ao3, both versions are written by me. I don't own the cover, I only edited it to serve my purpose) The ship is Romano X America

Alfred is an open book, right? Most of the countries seem to think so. But the American harbors many secrets, and only a few have seen through his open-book nature, taken off the laminated cover, and stopped to read the book that is Alfred F. Jones. All it takes is one little interruption in a world meeting for America's laminated cover to be torn to shreds.
