Just so happens that this is the first year that Harry Potter would attend for the first time. Once Jack learned about Harry's hard home life with the Dursleys, he felt an instant connection and acted like a mother towards the boy. But when Harry faces Mortal Peril, he will need to see that sometimes, he can let Harry take care of himself.

after Jack's been found in a children's room, a knife in his bloody hands and a corpse of a child in front of him. once the guardians abandoned him griefing over the betrayal pitch took actions knowing he would find strength in jack suffering. years of pain follow without the guardians being aware of it. isolation was now recalling his past experiences with depression and pitch is feeding himself off of the pain and fear.

Two years after the Guardians victory against Pitch, Jack and Bunny's fighting hasn't gotten any better. If anything, it's gotten worse. Then, after one particularly bad fight which ends up leaving Jack hurt, North has had enough. He knocks Jack and Bunny out and traps them in one of his workshops many guest rooms for a week, and puts up magic wards, disabling Jack and Bunny's powers. The intention was for them to bond and become friends, but what happens when Bunny finds out things that the frost spirit has never told anyone before? What will Bunny do when he finds out that the happiest of the Guardians isn't as happy as he lets up to be?
