Varian, a fourteen year old boy who is already one of Corona's top criminals. He now spends his days alone in prison with no one but his raccoon, Ruddiger, the queen, who tries none stop to reach out to him, and an unwanted demon named Albtraum. He awaits the day princess Rapunzel returns and he can get his revenge on her.

It's happily ever after, after all, but in this 'tangled' world more mysteries wait to be uncovered. When Varian finds out about his mother's scientific work and her quest to find the Eternal Library, he knows he must pick up where she left off and maybe find his own destiny along the way. Varian has been in prison for four months. Four long and boring months. Either with good luck or terrible luck. Varian came up with a plan. Little did he know, he would be getting out of prison sooner then he thought and a new power will overtake his world. Will, he accepts Rapunzel's help and learn to control his new abilities and return to the light. Or will he turn her away and get pulled into the darkness. I'll try to update every week. It all started with the trance. The trance that made the boy glassy eyed, trapped in his own mind. The trance that activated his power. And once it's revealed he's the moon drop villains will stop at nothing to get him in their clutches. (Hey this is my first story and please note this isn't going to follow the exact story. There are some major plot points in the show that I might change but please be aware this is just my fan fiction)

After Cassandra's heart-wrenching betrayal, Rapunzel and her friends find themselves returning to Corona, but are surprised to find their beloved kingdom covered in shadows. An ancient evil is awakening. It started with the moonstone, but now Zhan Tiri has her eyes set on a more valuable prize. There is a young alchemist in the dungeons; he is broken, and his drained mind is weak, which will make him the perfect target for the evil warlock's return. How can a single drop of sun stop the entire world from transforming into darkness?

This is going to be my own version of the Moon Varian theory as well as my own Varian redemption arc. My own take on Season Two as far as we have (plus my own version of future events).
