Hajime Hinata is on a class trip to Jabberwock Island with ultimate students at Hope's peak academy. Although he's with kids from school and would most likely get along with them...he feels a strange awkwardness when around them. There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy. Hajime starts to open up a bit after hanging out with them a lot, maybe with this new confidence he can get that one stubborn student to finally like him. Death has come to collect its dues and so, Hajime Hinata dies. He gets transported to the Afterlife and is sentenced to Hell for his crimes as a Mafia Lord. But how can he possibly fulfill his five-year sentence when his mentor, the Grim Reaper, is attractive as heck? (Simply, the Komahina Grim Reaper/Afterlife AU that no one ever asked for.) Hajime Hinata's least favorite fictional character comes to life, as absurd as that may seem. And to make matters even worse, that character has vowed their life - their entire existence - into protecting Hajime. Warning: Lots of fluff and some scenes with blood.
