A WW II veteran struggles with the aftermath of a false truth; a young girl prepares to sell her body to a passing stranger; an ancient trapper sniffs the path of the wolf; a deformed fish surfaces; a mysterious track is discovered on the shore of a northern lake. Nine Lies of B.G. Davies is a collection of short fiction featuring new original works as well as a few remastered drafts. Some stories were previously published outside of Wattpad, and reworked here for the Wattpad audience, some have appeared on Wattpad in earlier forms, and others have been running around the hard drive long enough. It's time to set them free. "Unknown Artist: Bicycle and Snow, 1941" was selected as the Grand Prize Winner of Wattpad's Literary Fiction Networks's competition "Winter." "The Brother Goes First" was the grand prize winner of Wattpad's Margaret Atwood The Heart Goes Last Competition. "Seduction in D Minor" was the first place winner of Wattpad Romance Love Me Tinder Competition. "The Line in the Sand" is true. Enjoy the lies.

Gene Di Novi played piano for the greats of the 20th Century: Lena Horne, Peggy Lee, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker. This is his biography spoken to the fine writer Jack Batten. "I played piano with Bird and Diz. I accompanied Lena, Peggy, Raquel, Barbra, one Dinah (Shore, but not Washington), two Franks (Sinatra and Zappa) and a Tony (Bennett). I recorded with a Pres (Lester Young) and a King (of Swing, Benny Goodman). I wrote songs with Johnny Mercer (Have a Heart) and composed an extended piece for an entire archipelago (The Scandinavian Suite). I learned lessons from a Duke (Ellington) and a Count (Basie). And I came oh so close to performing for a Vladimir (Horowitz)...."

Hi y'all. Last year I quit my job, married a Canadian, and uprooted my entire life - old typewriters, vintage costumes and all - to Toronto. We called it our Canadian adventure and we're living in Apartment A, or as we call it, Apartment "Eh?" Collected here are some of my thoughts about the Great White North and I'll be updating regularly with new musings since I'm still adjusting to my newfound home. Follow me on Instagram @zoedinovi for my visual diary and tell me your own tales of 'innocents abroad' in the comments!

The Universe Revealed is my attempt to discuss more thoroughly the main questions that we humans should ask about our existence, our universe and our place in it. These are mostly my thoughts on science, religion and philosophy as it applies to the human condition. My first book, The Theory of Nothing, covered many subjects. This book will be more specific to the big questions about life and what it means.

The summer at Ischia, re-imagined. With Nino, Lenu and Lila. This takes place during events from Book Two, so if you haven't gotten that far in the series, this fanfic will contain spoilers. I'm sorry! But also, just read the second book already; it's awesome.
