Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter. Will she go after him or honor his wishes? Spoilers if you haven't read Unlocked. But if you're like me and aching to read the next book I hope this fanfic will help you with the wait. "No." Sophie muttered, sure she had to have gotten it wrong. This was all a misunderstanding right? Maybe she'd read it wrong... or maybe it was a joke. Yes. A joke, that's what it had to be. It had to be a joke. Cause this? Keefe leaving? Never seeing him again? If that were true... if this was real... She'd never survive the coming war. ~~~ He was so close. Sophie was tired of letting the neverseen win. She was tired of waiting to find Keefe. She was angry at the black swan for telling her to wait. She was angry at Lady Gisela for giving Keefe an ability that he couldn't control. This fanfiction will take place after Keeper of the Lost Cities Unlocked (Book 9).
