Last of the Heroes, la apariția sa, nu întrunea niciuna dintre condițiile care l-ar fi putut clasifica drept un joc bun. Cu timpul, însă, compania producătoare, Arc Games Entertainment, i-a adus tot felul de îmbunătățiri, scoțându-l astfel din anonimat.
