All wars must come to an end, no matter how gruelling the outcome may be, and for the land of Britannia that rule was no different. Many end up choosing a side they believe is right, others are merely indoctrinated into a belief that suits them best; a life where they believe they're in the right.
3,000 years have come and gone, birthing a conflict so harrowing that even the individuals partaking in it wanted it all to end. The Holy War. Day after day, month after month, year after year, if there was one thing that this war taught the souls of the realms... it was that one's true colours will always be revealed in the face of death. Behind the mask of deception and false truths placed by those in charge... was a simple, honest soul.
But it was all over, the darkness had been vanquished off the face of the land and the forces of light had finally prevailed. Everything could finally get back to normal. But does the darkness always define a person's true self? Does light always mean a person is free of ill will? Behind the curtain of popular belief... no.
Goddesses, demons... in the end they're all the same. Something a peculiar boy will come to know full well after stumbling into the unknown.
