Five years. Five entire years have passed since the horrid Mortal War. The shadow world had moved on slowly, the ugly scars of battle still prominent on their backs. They had celebrated those who returned and will never forget the warriors who sacrificed themselves for the greater good of the world, and for those fallen with a heart of black. Families and friends were joyous in unitings and solemn when parting their beloved. --- "Jace, would you like to meet your little boy and girl?" Charlotte Everley and her best friend had a tradition. Every summer on June 26th, they call one number--one random number of the same area code, purely for entertainment. When Charlotte's best friend Stella found love with the help of their 'tradition', she added another reason. To find Charlotte a boyfriend. After three years of endless match ups, set ups, blind dates. and not to mention two calls to, thankfully, female receivers, the summer of eleventh grade comes rolling by, and so does the fateful day of June 26th. The only difference is that, this time, the stranger behind the phone is most definitely male. And the president's eighteen year old son.

Moving to a new school sucks. Especially when your name is Beatrice Prior. But no one would expect... well, this. Between bullying and schoolwork and some drama with her family and friends, Tris is finding it harder and harder to handle this new life of hers. But maybe she can find a way to balance it all out. Maybe she can find a way to survive reality. This was originally written on IG and I transferred it over. The sequel is better I promise (mostly because it lacks a lot of grammatical and spelling errors, unlike this one).
