Revenge. I'm familiar with it. You have to be when you're the firstborn son of a notorious mafia leader. Death and vengeance have been the very foundations of my life. So who in their fucking mind would be stupid enough to cross me? My brother and I have been wrongfully convicted of a crime we didn't commit. We know who is behind this. We bid our time behind bars, planned and prepared for the day we got out. Now we're free and hungry for redemption. I know what must be done. I know whose blood will be spilled. But before I go after him, I'll go after his daughter. I never said I play fair. *Book one in the Marino Brothers Duet. Rated 18+ due to explicit language, sex, and violence.*

Deadly assassins Allegra and Ace have been trying in vain to kill each other for years. With a mutual enemy threatening their mafias, they find themselves in an unexpected alliance, and soon discover killing each other isn't the only temptation they need to resist... ****** Allegra Grey is poised to be the next great American mafia leader, and she's more than living up to the name. A skilled assassin, there's only one target who's ever gotten away from her-suave, sinfully handsome Ace De Luca, heir to the Italian mafia and the Greys' biggest rival. When both mafias are faced with a dangerous threat, they're forced to work together to protect their families, and unexpected sparks fly. Allegra definitely isn't one to sleep with the enemy, especially an arrogant womanizer like Ace. But there's an undeniable electricity between them and Allegra's not sure it's all hatred. Ace may be bad news, but Allegra's never been afraid of a little danger. As the fire they're playing with grows to a scorching blaze, one thing is clear: trying to kill each other may have been difficult, but resisting this intense chemistry will be impossible. Ardelle Black's life isn't typical of a 16 year old, with her mother passing away and her father a convicted felon, is it so wrong to assume the world has written you off? Letting people in isn't easy when everyone you have ever known has left, but maybe accepting that there are still people out there willing to give unconditional love is worth it in the end. Fred Weasley seems to think so anyway. "We all end up alone, in the end that is. So why get your heartbroken along the way?" "You see thats where you're wrong. It's not everyday you find your soulmate, don't allow what could go wrong to overshadow what is going right. That shit is dumb" Extra notes and explanations: This story is written on the basis that the wizarding war ended in 1992, as Voldemort and his army were defeated by the order of the phoenix. Everyone that died prior to 1992 is dead within my story (e.g James and Lily potter) Sirius Black however is still in azkaban 4 years later, where our story is set, as there is no proof that proves he didn't sell out james and lily. Lastly Ardelle is in 5th year however she is 16 as the way the year group and ages are laid out in the books did not fit with my storyline. Both the twins and Oliver are 1 year older. I hope this clears some things up for you. Happy reading :) All rights to the harry potter franchise belong to JKR. I only own my OC and the plot.
