Elise's life is never a bore. With unusual parents, mad scientist brothers, and a little sister who aspires to be a witch, who can say that she is ordinary? Just looking at her herb collection and extreme fascination with ancient medical treatments, no one can deny that peculiarity runs deep in her blood. But, who will have known that her so-called 'strange life' is actually the most normal thing she will experience? Gone with her dad's antiques, the daily fortune-telling of her mom's, the crazy inventions of her older brothers, and the voodoo dolls of her sister, everything is never the same after letting curiosity reign over herself. Gigantic creatures, people with magic, fairies with their beautiful wings, black-eyed demons, and animals who can turn into humans await her as she travels into a new world. A world that is a completely different place. A world where she doesn't belong. ...Or does she? The Emperor's Lineage of Elith Book One Featured on: Wattpad Fantasy © Copyrights Reserved 2020-2021

**AVAILABLE ON AMAZON** (Book One in the Whispers of Nowhere trilogy) When Gwen's father gets home late from work, it's just another typical night for the museum curator's daughter. Still, there's something strange about the artifacts he's brought home this time, something so unique that she can't help but touch them. In a blinding flash, the artifacts vanish, and a mysterious man appears in their place. Only he's not a man at all. Forneus is a daemon, an intermediary between gods and man-and the guardian of the very artifacts Gwen has just unwittingly sent back to their places of origin around the globe. Gwen doesn't have time to absorb this before a new figure emerges: Phenex, the human-personification of the legendary bird, himself. The next thing she knows, she's being whisked away from the comfort of her home into a world beyond her wildest imaginings. When she thinks things couldn't possibly get any more complicated, she's proven wrong. Because those bizarre artifacts? They were protective seals to a place called Nowhere; a prison realm created by the gods to contain all of the malevolent forces Gwen has only heard about in bedtime stories. Now those very same forces are on the rampage, intent on revenge against the gods whom imprisoned them-and they don't care who else gets hurt along the way. Possessing innate powers she can't even begin to understand, it is up to Gwen and her two mysterious allies to reclaim the lost artifacts before someone far more sinister does...

"My name is Eve, and my story isn't the typical one. Where a human shows many aliens, amongst many worlds, the beauty of what it means to be human, hoping they change their ways. No. This is my story, and I would never change it. Where a humans' ability to learn how to survive and adapt amongst those many aliens, on those many worlds is beautiful in its own right. I found a life I never dreamed of. It's mine now. Well, ours really. Through the devastation and through the bliss, it became our story along the way, and we'll never give it up." Eve is sitting in an alien prison, though prison is too nice a word for where Eve is thrown. Amongst animals (she assumes anyway), the aliens pay no attention to her, as they think she is no better than the monkeys and other animals that yell from their cell. When Ardaxur, another alien, is thrown in with the animals as a punishment, he can't believe that he has to spend 2 days amongst any of these filthy beasts (he's never going to do another favor for his friend again). When the animal he is thrown in with talks to him, using some type of device to translate for her, he sees her and sees that the merchants on the ship are involved in more than he ever knew. *all mature chapters have a non-mature version of the same chapter, which is posted after the mature version.* My book is rated mature, and it isn't rated mature because of a few curse words or just a little violence. There is violence, sexual content (consensual), and if there are other triggers I will make you aware before a chapter. Some books use the mature rating for reasons that I don't ever really figure out. But not this book (or any of my books). It earns that mature rating. Please do not read if these things bother you. *I try to use actual science in my sci-fi (though sometimes the laws of physics just don't want to help me out)*
