Highest ranking: #1 in Teen Fiction -- "Sunshine, what guy do you know has a weird fetish with sign language?" She's the aftermath of a high school party nightmare. Tragedy robbed her of her innocence and stole her voice before she had the chance to speak out. The court called her a liar, and the guilty was set free. Now memories plague her mind and trap her in solitude. She was forced to learn sign language, struggling to find a way to voice her silence. He's the definition of the boy she tried to stay away from. The epitome of harsh rumors and hopeless fantasies. The source of lies and blame. He's analyzed, misunderstood, and utterly mysterious. And he may be the one to find her voice. When they meet, she gets accustomed to his arrogance and he gets accustomed to her silence. An essay is what brings them together, but what happens when he starts asking too many questions? Will her past continue to drag her down, or will he save her? Fate has a funny way of bringing people together, but it doesn't always work how it's supposed to. *different summary inside* "Perfect amount of tragedy, humor, and romance!" -Sparkles530 "I feel like I learned a lot from your story, thank you." - 980Sarah "This book is beautifully written. Death is ready to visit a new world! Based on the published novel and Wattpad sensation, Death is My BFF is now a webcomic! Experience the story like never before now only on WEBTOON! This is a VERY rough, early draft of "Death is My BFF" and the published version looks very different! :) ****** (2014 WATTY AWARD WINNER!) The legendary Angel of Death has spared Faith Williams' divine soul. However, this merciful act comes at a price. When she turns eighteen, her soul and everything that she is, will belong to him. The problem? Faith's not going to hell without a fight. Death isn't the only creature that has taken notice in her uniqueness. Demons, monsters, one vengeful demi-god, and a notorious playboy are all wrecking havoc on her life. Torn between two worlds, Faith must decide once and for all whom she can trust, and whom she can allow herself to love, before all of hell breaks loose. Even if it means striking another deal with Death. * * * FAQ: HELLO, YOU BEAUTIFUL PERSON! :) You CAN read this story without reading the Original Death series. DEATH IS MY BFF REWRITTEN is a total rewrite of the first draft of "Death is My BFF", which I wrote when I was 14. The ORIGINAL series is on my profile, but it does not line up with this book. Again, the book you are currently on is "Death is My BFF Rewritten," which is part of the Rewritten Death Chronicles, and this book does not line up with the original Death series. Again, the Rewritten Death Chronicles will share similarities to the original series, but should be considered a SEPARATE from the series I wrote when I was 14! Please enjoy!!!!! Xoxo, Katarina E. Schuyler believes that she knows the world she is in, and she believes she is in control but when she learns the truth, she is far from in control. With blonde hair, blue eyes and a smile so pure that one would believe she could do no wrong, innocence dripped from her skin and that was the way that Schuyler preferred it. In reality, she was far from innocent, and even further from pure but that was not what she wanted her prey to think. She needed her innocent facade, and her pure smelling blood in order to trap the wolves in her web, and once trapped the only escape was death. This is not your typical Red Riding Hood story, where Red allowed others to kill the wolves, and where she was too innocent to do anything. No, this is a gruesome, horrific retelling where blood is the main theme and deception follows closely behind.

There was one thing that I desired more than blood. One thing that I had a thirst for than anything else. Power. It consumed me whole and took me hostage until there was nothing left in me. I will have it-- no matter the cost. If I have to kill to get it, then I will show no remorse. There is just one person getting in my way-- but I would not call him a person because he is not human. Not at all. I would call him a God. The God of Death. And he has come to kill me. But not before I kill him first.

Her death was just the beginning. ___ "What are you doing to us!" I cried. I felt the painful sensation deep in my skin as if I was burning from inside out. Like the sun became my greatest enemy and trying to burn me alive. I fell to my knees and I looked over at him with fear in my eyes. He told me to never show how terrified I was, but I couldn't help it. His eyes the color of night assured me that's it was going to be okay. But it wasn't. "Taking away your ability to walk in the sunlight. You are going to be like the rest of those bloodsuckers." she exclaimed. The pain was getting even stronger by the minute and I screamed at the top of my lungs. I looked down at my skin and I realized that it was scorched. But I managed to speak, despite my mind telling me to focus on the pain. "Why?" I whispered. The woman knelt down beside me and whispered something in my ear that chilled me to my bones. My eyes were slits with her this close to me. I wanted to kill her. "What do you think, Elora? This is war." ___ COMPLETED All rights to the owners.
