The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London.

That would make for an adrenaline-filled start to our story, our dance of death, but that's not how it happened at all. No, I met my killer where a lot of people meet these days. And no it wasn't on tinder or with any of those other damned dating apps. He wasn't that kind of serial killer. No, I met him at the local grocery store, I met him at my place of work. Just my luck right? Some would call it destiny, but in all honesty it was all just a throw of a dice, and a late night shift at work that needed to be filled.
