He is oddly gentle and an unreadable expression takes over his face. "Of course I do," he finally says, an inkling of pain on his pale face. "And I can have you live." He was everything that Maven was not, but then one night. He received a letter. A love letter. As Maven read the letter, he wondered. Who could it possibly be? Nobody has ever written him a letter. Nobody cared about who he was when his brother got all the attention. So, who was this mystery person?
