The book "The Rise of Scourge" is a manga book about the story of Scourge, the murderous leader of his clan BloodClan, began. Unfortunately his death was at a battle with Firestar, in the book "The Darkest Hour" After Firestar scratched his neck, with the collar breaking off, Scourge was responsible for the death of Tigerstar before the war between the two clans. Scourge back then, with his brother and sister, Socks and Ruby, he was called Tiny. He got his name Scourge from his mothers words he remembered. In a time set in the future, cats of good and bad are reborn - and they look awfully familiar. Firestar, Sandstorm, Graystripe, Ravenpaw, Hollyleaf, Silverstream, Whitestorm, Bluestar, Yellowfang, Tigerstar, Mapleshade, Crowfeather, Leafpool, Tallstar, Thistleclaw, and Ivypool are just a few of the cats reborn. When an omen is sent of a fire striped like a tiger burning bracken, the cats must figure out what it means as Tigerclaw is slowly rising once again to take over the Clans.
