Viorel was born in the Unova Region in Aspertia City. However, when he turned five years old, he and his family moved to a region called Seania. New trainers can't start their Pokemon journey until they're 14 years old. At a young age, Viorel spent most of his time studying Pokemon in books due to his love for them.
