Craёton is a planet in an alternate universe. There everyone has the ability to shift into a creature, and they are all called Xёlons. The most powerful one are the pure blooded xёlons. Their blood is untainted by any other species and they hold great power. Half breeds on the other hand, are strong but obviously not as strong as the pure blooded xёlons. Aёon is a Sёlger, he can't shift as yet and he has already passed the age at which he was supposed to shift. Because of this, everyone in his village, including his parents, treats him badly. Then, one day, his parents decide to enroll in Mecros Academy, the best school in the planet. Fishy right? But it was a great way to get him out of their household.
