Hard to face. We feel like running away. Giving up. But we don't. We keep fighting; even if we lose, we get up and carry on. Why? Because of the hope. Even in the horrifying truth, there is a streak of hope that keeps us going. This truth, this hope, is what makes life. And this life, in verse, is what makes this book.
