Oxygen is poison. Her life has no direction and she knows. Things couldn't possibly be worse. Elise Santana has been living with her much older brother and his family for nearly a decade, and she doesn't have a plan for when she's inevitably kicked out after graduating high school. That's not her biggest problem, though. She's more worried about making her life more interesting. When a bizarre theory about 'noxious oxygen' enters her mind during a news interview, she blurts it out to world. This leads to a wild string of events that kills her old, mundane life-and replaces it with one she's not quite sure she can handle. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Contents within the book should not be taken as fact unless research states otherwise. Enjoy! Also, this is a rough draft! I plan to go back, edit parts and do small rewrites to make the story flow better and make more sense. Enjoy the barely edited, mess this is so far c: credit to @AlexandraLing2000 for the cover <3

There are only two things in the world Ellie is sure of: all she wants is a quiet life at home with her mother, and the Sanguine Pack is a fierce, infamously barbaric organized group that anyone should know better than to cross. But when Ellie displays a stunning manifestation of healing powers, previously unbeknownst even to herself, she is proclaimed the Pack's Luna. Soon enough, she is whisked away from her mother to an ancient castle teeming with intrigue, cut-throat politicking, and wild whispers of dark magic. In this place, shadows have eyes, ears, and fur and fangs---and they lurk around every corner. As she settles into her new life, Ellie soon finds that she has a lot to learn, from deconstructing her preconceived notions about werewolves to unraveling the silvery web of mystery spinning itself through the Pack. A sheep thrown among wolves, can Ellie survive---even thrive---amid unlikely friends and underhanded foes whilst still remaining true to herself? And can she, perhaps, even find the answer to the sky-deep yen inside her soul that's been calling to her for what feels like forever? ☾ a deconstruction of your average werewolf story ☾ ON HIATUS
