A one shot It's the night after the stain incident and Izuku, Iida, and Todoroki are in the hospital, where Izuku's mother comes to vistit and we learn that the bright smiles sometimes hide the deepest cuts.

Midoriya Izuku stepped into the ring, ready for his fight with the dual elemental quirk user, Shouto Todoroki. The nervousness he felt stepping onto the stage was nothing compared to the regret he felt waking up in the hospital afterwards, unable to see and feeling useless in every way.
