Even through Cal is with her, Mare's mind constantly drifts to the boy king. She longs for the boy she loved, but she won't turn her back on her people. Set after Red Queen. This is a continuation of the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard after the end of War Storm. It goes more in-depth of how the characters live after Norta became a republic and what that kind of government looks like in Norta.
