They have lived there with a handful of families and not one of them have ever thought about moving to the village for the people who lives there were selfish and the Royals have never cared about the current state of their town. Being poor, everyone still worked hard to make small shelters for themselves and planted crops and grow small farms for food supplies. But their supplies would often get stolen by the King's men as they were always referred to as "Supply Peasants". Their crops would be some kind of like another food source for the people in the main village. Leaving little to nothing for the nonmembers. Even through the hardships everyone in Nonmembers still believes that soulmates are somehow going to make a change for everything... everyone except Thomas. He believes that it was all just folk stories that have been passed around to troll with people's minds. "I mean... How the hell does a person's chest glow in some kind of color...?" Thomas often comments. One day a red and golden carriage arrives in their town. Two people wearing black thick leather faux top that cover their whole neck down to their waist stepped out and immediately captured everyone's attention. "The new King is ready to make an appearance to the public. By that he is to throw a ball where only allegedly beautiful people are invite to waltz with his highness to hopefully find his life partner. We are told by the King's men that they have seen a few beautiful faces in this 'fine' home. We would like you people to step forward before we burn your shelters down if you were to refuse."
