(under reconstruction) When Raiyn forces her way out of the shifter underground, the last thing she expected was to fall in love with the enemy. -------------------------------------------------- *note: this is not a book that involves, quote on quote, "Romantic Novel." There is no sex scenes, petting, or even hardly any kissing. I think focusing on trying to cause arousal degrades and mocks what love truly is. If this is what you wanted in a Romance, this is not the book for you.

[Editors' Choice 2020] In a near-future, post-apocalyptic world, a lone girl must choose between becoming the next-in-line to head a corrupt government or siding with those who wish to see the world burn. Order, suppression and lies, or chaos, truth and freedom? Whatever is chosen, one thing is clear: both sides bleed. ***** Every year, the Federated United Americas tasks its elite soldiers to participate in a nation-wide Cull. Hundreds of children are taken from homes and put into one of three Facilities. While most of them will be offered comfortable lives in the forms of low-ranking government jobs and militia commandos, a few will be groomed to be the successors for the highest office the FUA has to offer: The Council. Beckett Blake is known in the Facility as Ten, and she alongside six others branded 'Liars', have spent years enduring confinement and rigorous testing in order to secure a future as head of the FUA. When a terrorist group breaks into the Facility and kidnaps Ten and the others, she's forced to re-examine her future plans. Required to become a drug runner in the mega-city known as Neon Brights, Ten must decide if the future she'd been promised since childhood is worth the lies it's built upon. Will Ten choose the future that's been decided for her, or will she carve out one all her own, even if that path leads to her destruction? Cover by @eosophobias

All the earth is torn asunder. There used to be grass, and the sun used to be golden. Children played outside, climbing trees with smiles on their faces and grass stains on their knees. People worried about a million things that would soon be irrelevant, continuing without a clue of the disaster to come. Centuries later, what little is left of humanity survives in a society constructed beneath the surface of a glass dome, the world outside converted to little more than a desert wasteland. Survival is a routine rather than an effort, and all rules are surpassed by only one: if you want to survive, you never leave the dome. There's nothing alive out there. The radiation that soaks the earth makes sure of that. Until one day, someone finds a bloody, dust-covered handprint on the outside of the glass. Nothing will ever be the same again. No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad.
