Todoroki has been dealing with depression for a while now but he's been able to hide it for now at least until it gets to overwhelming to deal with the voice inside his head so he breaks up with Midoriya to try to stop the pain he distances himself from everyone else but the thoughts in his head start to take over despite everyone trying to comfort him and get him to come to his senses.
