After countless moons of peace between Skyclan, Thunderclan, Windclan, Riverclan, and Shadowclan, a new threat arises that may as well bring an end to the clans. Birchpaw, a Windclan Apprentice, experienced head trauma when she was just a kit. Now disabled, she has to learn to cope with her life in a clan. She soon learns that Cloverkit, a newly born kitten, had been born without a hind leg. Cloverkit's paws may be the only path that the clans can follow. Birchpaw must overcome misguidance, mistrust, and misunderstandings to prove to her clanmates that she is a capable, and responsible, cat. What Birchpaw isn't aware of, though, is that her fate is about to change, and all of the clans will as well.
