Alrighty then, this is a Winterwatcher story for all of the souls who got crushed at the end of book 10 in Wings of Fire, including mine. Moon is starting to have second thoughts about if choosing Qibli was really the best choice after all. She's always enjoyed her status - that is, until the war starts. The tribes make desperate pacts with each other, and her tribe is in the middle of the fight. To strengthen the allegiance of the MudWings and the SkyWings, she will be married to Prince Quail, one of the MudWing heirs. Naturally, Opacity is disgusted by the idea of marrying out of her tribe, as well as arranged marriage, and decides to run. However, she's anything but escaped from the war. Opacity has a run-in with a traitor, an insane dragon, and a lost heir. There's danger brewing inside her own kingdom, and it's up to her to stop it. But will she have the courage to go back?
