One rainy night while Tony Stark is out, he comes across a 15 month old boy named Peter Parker, whose is injured and very weak. He immediately takes the young boy to the hospital where he is treated, with no one claiming to be the parents of Peter. He is placed under Tony's guardianship temporarily until any remaining family members or someone decides to take him in.

Peter Parker attempts to juggle being Spider-Man, a high school student, and traumatized all at the age of sixteen. Aunt May does her best to be supportive of her superhero nephew and Ned is always there to be his Guy in the Chair. Sometimes, it's still too much for Peter. When he thinks things can't get even more complicated, a villain inserts themselves into the mix. Tony Stark decides to awkwardly step in and tries to help Peter understand that his own health needs to come before Spider-Man. Peter isn't sure if he agrees.

When Tony introduces the team to his best friend, the team are surprised to meet a seven year old girl with Tony's smarts and sarcasm, Clint's humour, Nat's 'deadly' personality, Steve's determination, Bruce's intellect and Thor's love of pop tarts. When team make a horrible discovery about Carson's life, will Carson be rescued and get the life she deserves, or will she be left in the gutter, to rot.
