Alexander DeMarque is an Elite Warrior of the Otherworld Alliance, a special group used to bring down Rogue Shifters that now reside on Earth. Alex is sent on a special mission to bring back one of the Alliances' son, who was kidnapped by a pack of Lycan Shifters. When Alex thinks he finally finds this pack it lands him straight in the middle of a bar brawl, and he ends up saving a curvaceous, courageous woman. The Howling Cats' new bartender Carrie, is a full figured, usually shy young woman, who only works at the bar, to help pay for her College courses. Carrie didn't usually work the night shift, mostly because of her shyness and her tendency to stutter, but as her co worker/ roommate just disappeared, the owner had begged her to cover the shift. After being saved by two mysterious men during a bar brawl, Carrie is then brought along for the search of Shifters, which may also lead her to her roommate. Will Carrie lose her heart in this Wicked pursuit or find everlasting love?
