He'd been hiding his vampiric qualities from the server since the attack, but when Mumbo doesn't feed for 6 months, his best friend Grian begins to have some questions. Grian has escaped his horrible high school years, finally happy away from Sam in Hermitcraft. One day, Mumbo goes missing, and Grian finds out that an old friend of his might have to do with it. (I use Grumbo purely PLATONICALLY. Also, the cover art is not mine.)

Emma is lost in the woods somewhere. With her powers draining whatever energy she has left, she meets another person like her.

Something strange begins to happen to Grian, and he leaves the Island for information. But of course, his fellow Hermits have to come rescue him. He spends some time recovering and thinks it's all in the past. But after accidentally poisoning Mumbo, Grian discoveres the story isn't quite over yet.

Would you hide a part of yourself? You might do it if that part scared you. After a while, you might get good at hiding your secrets and past. Grian had experience with that sort of thing, and now he must do it once again - but it's so much harder this time.
