Elyssa Marie Heart comes from a small town with not much to offer. At age seven, her father disappeared, and at 12, her mother passed. Now, moving on, through a high school made for the gifted, she experiences a life much different from your average, magic-wielding, student. Elyssa must learn to adapt to her life as it changes from stereotypical and boring, to wild and filled with magic, love, and adventure.
