I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him.
