A family moved from Germany to Avonlea, and their daughter, Adelina goes to a school with interesting people, she doesn't know who likes and dislikes her. But, she befriends the girls, and a few boys, and everything is happy, until she meets a boy, who works at Anne Shirley's house; Jerry. They develop a strong attachement towards eachother, but sadly, after a few years, Adelina has to go back to Germany for 3 weeks. "Are you okay?" Jerry asks softly, making the girl on top of him immediately open her eyes and widen them. Suddenly feeling embarrassed, she tries to get up off of the boy who she did not know, but was unsuccessful as she begins to cough and feel light headed immediately. "Relax, ma belle, I don't mind," Jerry laughs innocently, and Gabriela chuckles as she falls back onto him.
