Set after Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Bucky is lost, without a purpose and brainwashed within an inch of his life. S.H.I.E.L.D and Hydra have both fallen and without anyone to stop him, Bucky intends to find out who he is - or who he was - before Hydra took away every last inch of him. Steve is left recovering from the catastrophe, but knows that Bucky is still out there, and that Bucky needs his help. Steve will do everything in his power to help his best friend find out who he is again. How far would you go to help your friend recover their mind? How long would you try for? Steve knows it isn't going to be easy, and wants to set Bucky on the road to recovery; but confusion and nostalgia hides around every corner. This story is part 2 of The New Life. So instead of the titles being The Asset, it will be White Wolf. For those who chose not to read my first series, this book is about Bucky having OSDD (Other specified dissociative disorder) causing him to have three mindsets. The oldest named James, the three year old named Bucky and Winter the Winter Soldier. With the three year old being present the most, Steve has taken the role of father hood. This is the story of their lives through good and bad through the road of recovery.

Tony held up a hand as Steve began to interrupt, a horrified expression on his face. "You get to choose who it is," he continued, "and it's only for a week." "At the end of the week if you're still convinced that you're straight...I'll pay for your wedding." Steve didn't hesitate, sealing the deal with a firm shake.
