Elizabeth was adopted by the Daae family when she was just 4 years old. The story starts the day of the performance of "Hannibal" and through a winding sequences of events, Elizabeth finds herself down in the catacombs. And soon, comes face to face with Him. Christine couldn't see past His deformed features, but Elizabeth could. She learned to see the man behind the mask. She saw that he was no monster. He was simply a broken soul, who was looking for any ounce of affection. Christine couldn't understand why Elizabeth cared for him so much. Things escalated quite quickly when Raphael, Raoul's younger brother, comes to the Masquerade Ball. The brothers seemed to always intervene when they are not needed. But, what happened after that dreadful night after Don Juan?
