Sometimes, the one you have in your heart is not the one you have in your arms. --- "I love this book, it's perfect. I finished it in one sitting, I found it that good. One of the best and most beautifully crafted books I've ever read on Wattpad." - @LostForever011 "I usually don't read books with little details in the description, but this one intrigued me in ways I can't understand, and I absolutely loved it." - @Blu_Storm_Lyla "Ahh, it's intriguing! It's the first chapter and I'm already hooked." - @deedert "I loved this book so much. Every chapter had so much detailing. It had the audience twisting with emotions. I'm just so glad I took my time to read this amazing piece of work." - @HopeWorldJ "You twist words around your literary finger (pardon my odd metaphor) with such ease that it startles me pleasantly... consider myself swept off my feet!" - @DocendoDiscimus "Unbelievable how many times I've read this, and each time I fall in love with story even more." - @AhoneyQ "I love the humour in your stories, as always refreshing!" - @Olga_GOA |completed ❅ cover by @splendiferously ❅ all rights reserved|

He's smirking down at me as he says, "Um, you're in my seat." I laugh and say, "You realize that is the most cliche thing you could possibly say?" He looks confused so I elaborate. "It's the first day of school and you're coming up the new girl, claiming I'm in your seat. Sorry, but it's not very original." He huffs and rolls his eyes. "Get out of my seat, sunshine." "Watch it happen, pretty boy." I reply, smirking as I stuff my other earbud back in. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Madeline Lace is the youngest of six, the older five being all brothers. Maybe then I will be able to tell you it is limitless. And that is how you make me feel, Daniel. (ON HOLD) RYKER YOUNG... I was a father at twenty-four. I was a single dad to a rowdy three-year-old boy and a professional ice hockey player for the Chicago Blackhawks. Since my girlfriend died three years ago, I haven't exactly had time - or the mental strength - to return to the dating scene. Other girls weren't exactly at the top of my list of priorities. Until my high school sweetheart appeared on my doorstep as my son's babysitter. In all of Chicago, it was Kasey Williams who was in my house and all I knew was that I wasn't going to let her go a second time. KASEY WILLIAMS... The only reason I agreed to the babysitting gig was because I needed the money. I was a broke PhD student living in the city. I knew I should have asked more questions. I should have found out whose house I was about to spend hours in. Whose child it was that I had to look after. Even if I had a thousand guesses, it never would have occurred to me that it could be Ryker Young's house and son. Not in a million years. I also never thought I would ever forgive him or that I could fall back in love with him but now I know that anything is possible.
